i put on my hooker cat back system and love it, but i was told that my cat is really slowing down air flow and making the system quieter. what i want to know is what i should do with the cat..
1. remove it completely
2. gut it
3. gut it and put a pipe in it for straght airflow
4 who knows..
i think i want to do option #3 incase i do get pulled over and they say "where is your cat" - its still there, just not efective and i also want to know what i should do with the o2 sensor, will i have to move it for mess around with my computer?

 

id go with #4. sounds like a plan. no but really, if you dont have to worry about emissions then i would just take it off and put a pipe in its place. if you have tough emissions id take it off and gut it.

 

and your o2 sensor is fine as long as you dont have a 1993-2002 f-body. if its a 92 or below, just leave it where its at, nothing to mess with.
