SLP or Jet-Hot

Is SLP coatings any better than Jet-Hot, because I can get a deal on either, but the deal for SLP is better...Which do you guys suggest??

SLPs are stainess steel. They don't need coating to be rust resistant becuase its "coatings" are built in. Besides rust resistance, coatings are ceramic and insulate the heat so it can stay hot and leave the headers faster. In that respect, SLPs could use some coating.

SLP does not do their own coatings. You have to get them coated yourself or they will ship to an address you specify to get them coated...you make the arrangements and maybe save some money on shipping.

SLP does offer a coated header. Check out their site. I don't know if the coating is better than Jet-Hot or not, but I'm going with Jet-Hot anyway because it's what we use here, and it's all the same anyway.

Great....Thanks for the replies....I think I will get them coated, because Everything heats up under the engine, and I want the look of coated headers, rather than the ss look...Thanks guys...
