Difference in Flowmaster muffs???

I am going to purchase a Flowmaster muffler for the 82-92 stock style setup. Is the only difference in the two offered a tail pipe diameter? Is one for use with the stock pipes and the other with larger aftermarket pipes? If so which is prefered? The larger pipe for more flow or the smaller for quicker flow and louder??
Where is the cheapest place to buy this muffler?
I'm thinking about putting on MEG's tips. The oval cut ones. What do you think?

To keep the stock look you have to get the muffler with the dual outs (I think they are 2.5") The muffler by itself should cost less than $100. Then you have to buy the pipes, and if you are like me the polished exhaust tips.

I think the dual outs sound pretty good. Some peeps here may suggest the single out. IMO the sound REALLY becomes noticeable when you put on headers.
