alright guys, i am building a 350 for the rs now and i had an idea about the exhaust. i live in georgia so i don't have to worry about emmisions. my dad upgraded his hedman shorties and y-pipe to the headmen long tubes for his z. so i get all of his exhuast. instead of running a full catback, i am going to put a 3-chamber flow right on to the y-pipe and a turndown after that. so, what do you guys think? should have very little resistance and the ground clearance should be good cause it will sit right in the same spot as a catalytic converter.
Ground clearence will still be iffy, and its gonna be VERY loud and droning inside. That may or may not be a problem
Depends on how you like it. IF you get tired of the noise, you can always put on a full cat back later.

INTERIOR NOISE!
I shouted because the exhaust noise is going to resonate against the floor pan resulting in intolerable noise inside the car. Unless you don't mind not being able to talk to a passenger, hear the stereo, hear that rod bearing knocking because you forgot to put oil back in after you drained the oil when you were putting the headers on because you were under there already anyway so might as well change the oil...

i thought about interior noise being bad, what if i exited it all the way out to the side of the car? like a single sided exhaust. i kinda like the look of no exhaust pipes though. and it will be just a mild 350 at first. (notice i say "at first")
