Headman...

Ok, well my headman y-pipe just got here today and to my surprise it was two 2.25" pipes coming from the 3" collecters of the headers which this y is designed for...now what's going on here, do they make two different y's for these headman shorty headers? I guess maybe my assumption that the y would at least end in a 3" diameter was incorrect (they at least gave me a 2.5 to 3 adapter, yay). Anyway, if this is the only y they make, how restrictive will this be? I already have all 3" from the y-back so will it be acting like a 2.5" system due to the choking y?

well have you ever had headmans before, they seem decent quality enough to me, painted fine, bent fine, welded fine... but my question was not wether what i bought was junk, i was asking how constricting that 5 inches or so of 2.5 would be, there are two 2.5's leading into it, and 3" leading out of it....but for about 5 inches there is single 2.5...how constrictive is this? please dont tell me, "just buy slp" which from what i read on here would be hard to install on my anyway.
