Hey guys. I just got my 3in American Thunder catback in the mail from Summit, so now I need to order my Magnaflow High-flo cat so I can go ahead and get it installed. I have an 86 iroc-z LG4 engine. My question is do I need to get the cat with or without the AIR tube? I do plan on getting headers sometime in the summer, so I wanna keep that in mind and get the correct cat. Or does it not matter? Im new to all this so I wanna get the perfect application for my ride. Thanx in advance all!

 

I would have ordered a direct fit (for your model year) CATCO cat
from Summit the same time with the exhaust. Then there would be no question on what do get. My opinion.

 

I thought about that but since my car is a carbed and 2 1/2 in piping i wanted 3in to upgrade to TPI sized. and I cant find a 3in catco direct fit cat anywhere on summit.
