bullet mufflers how loud?

Just wondering for true dual exhaust, how much louder are bullet mufflers than say a 3inch flowmaster setup?

Are there any other options really? I meean there's these "spintech" mufflers that i've seen in summit....how do they compare in loudness?

I have found that the bullets are loud just about all the time. Tjey just get much louder when you jump on it. If they were mounted up front and had plenty of tail pipe after them, it might not be as bad.

Maybe its the way my exhaust is, but mine are rather quiet. I have a y-pipe in the stock location, into the 2 bullets, and then y-ed into a 3.5" and dumps about even with the front mount for the lower control arm on the passenger side. I can't say it is quiet, but for being a straight through muffler, if thats what it is to be called, it isn't as loud as others have mentioned. I had a 69 LeMans with true dual 3" into single chamber Flowmasters, and that was loud. Loud to the point of a headache everytime I drove it. I went down to 2.5 pipes, and it helped. But the drone was still very noticeable.

well i need to run smaller mufflers due to the ground clearance issues with true duals, can you guys recommend any other type of circular or smaller mufflers?

well i can't really find anything else....

and I would like no louder than a flowmaster if I could, in fact that would be great but space does not allow for flowmasters to be mounted up.
