Header prices?

The next thing I want to get for my car is a good set of emissions-legal headers, but I've heard prices all across the board from $400-$750, without the cost of installation. If anyone could fill me in on the price (for the whole thing, parts and installation, if you didnt do it yourself) for your emissions-legal headers so I could start getting an idea on how much I will be spending, I'd greatly appreciate it.

SLP emissions legal headers go for about $450. You may get em cheaper via group purchase or an occasional sale (I got mine for $350)

They are the most expensive and I think they are the only ones made for 1 3/4. Edelbrock, Hooker, and others out there go for less. There has been plenty of arguments over design and quality so do a search and make your own decision.

I highly recommend you get your headers coated ($150 - $200) or at cost if you do it yourself.

Installation shouldn't cost more than $200. I recommend getting a full exhaust installed with those headers to see the real benefit.

summit sells edelbrock tes header for 320, slp headers are in the range of 450-500, and with slp header you will need to get the install kit and a cat adaptor,
