What gets in the way of puttin two 40 series flowmasters at the back of the car in the dual position? I saw it once but they were tilted at around 45 degrees which was stupid looking.

Could it be done like the C5 vettes?

 

C5 vette mufflers are EXPENSIVE and they'd take up even more room than putting mufflers parallel to the drivetrain.
