Exhaust to big for my car?

Does it hurt your engine or exhaust if you dont have enought back pressure? Like if i modify my exhust for the motor i want but dont yet have, will it hurt anything?

only if its rediculouly too big like dual 3" pipes and open headers, maybe you could burn a valve.

with a good exhaust like proper sized headers, a good cat and a 3" cat back you should be fine.
