Simply, after a moderate/streetable buildup (which would of course use a higher flowing exhaust), if for whatever reason you had to temporarily switch back to a stock muffler, would this really mess anything up, or would it just be performance robbing?

it would just be kinda restrictive, loose some power, might gain some torque!! but it would be nothing to worry about.
