I have a Dynomax cat back, it used to be quiet before my engine wires burnt up front now. Now the weird thing is that when the weather is warm it's nice and quiet but when it's cold outside it's just too loud to the point I can't hear my stereo. Any ideas, I want my low rumble back

 

Rip out the one have now and put a stock one in you idiot and leave us alone.

Did the car backfire when your wires burnt out. If it did maybe it blew apart the muffler inside.

 

Yes it did backfire and as a matter of fact I was not getting a ground from the fuel pump when this happened when I ran a seperate ground it started again but the sound from the muffler increased. weird

 

I bet the muffler got blown out on the inside. I had a car once that backfired and it blew the muffler case apart.
