electric cutout

ok, a while back I remember seeing an exhaust cutout that had an electric motor on it with a butterfly valve, and I remember it costing like $150. anyone know what Im talking about? I would love to get this becuase I dont want a cable operated one and I dont really want to have to crawl down and undo some wing nuts or anything.

Has anyone seen decent gains with cut-outs? The only gains I've read have been .2 sec or less, I know that is significant, but those were usually on engines making more than 400 hp likely. I'm saying 13 sec car, cut-out vs. 3" cat-back? ANYONE? I'm considering making my own, shouldn't cost more than $60, 30 for the cut-out, 30 for the butterfly/motor/relay. I have free machine shop and AL/steel stock. One of the few perks for paying $20,000 a yr for tuition at a tech school, sophomore design project right there and porting the stock heads/base.

Hmmm, what am I saying? Too much class today I guess (7 hrs). A .1-.2 sec gain for $30-$200(manual/electric). I must still be wetting my panties b/c I gained .5 sec and 3 mph from an $80 chip. I'll report back in 3-6 weeks with the results, sounds like a better deal than upgrading that stock 2.5" intermediate pipe I have(yes it's 2.5" I measured it). How long is it until summer?
