How much horsepower/time can you add by taking off your cat?..

5hp maybe over a new cat. More if the cat is bad.

Probably less... you'll have to make some changes to the mixture to get that power though... I'd say the best rout is a high flow cat.. probably 4 Hp difference.

well, if u just GUT the cat, you probably wont gain hardley and HP and might actualy loose torque, because of the turbulence created in the empty cat, so if u gut it, then place a pip inside the cat. then u will notice a little difference in sound and power.
