pipe through CAT

pipe through CAT

ok i wanna run a exhaust pipe through the CAT so it looks as if i still have one that works but it doesn, will that work?, is there room in there to run a 2 1/4" pipe through?

i do, once a year im just gonna take the pipe out for nspection, but there is room in the cat to run it?

If you aren't worried about getting caught by a cop or something just do what I did: Go to a Carquest store and get some exhaust pipe tubing (whaterver fits your car) and 2 clamps and put the strait pipe in PLACE of your cat until you run emissions - put the cat back in then.
It is not possible to run a pipe through the cat w/o wrecking the cat - I found this out when I ripped all the **** out of mine to try to free up the flow.

Lot of work and effort for little or no gain, just buy a hi-flow Cat and be done with it.
