True Dual?!

OK i have an 85Z28 thats gott the factory single cat and muffler with the two tailpipes... i really dont like this... i would like to get rid of that crap and get some headers and straight pipe it with dual 'guttted' cats... the only prob is i looked under the car and under the pass. side it was made to have room for a cat and under the drivers side theres not room for it... so how would i go about straight piping it from the headers back??

You can install true dual exhaust. You need someone that is not intimidated with the work to be done . Also if you do a search of "dual exhaust" you will get alot of info on this subject.

an experienced exhaust shop should be able to do it, no real problems. have them to run the pipes side-by-side in the stock location. pick a good set of turbo mufflers, some nice chrome tips, exit the exhaust in stock location (just a little lower than stock, so your tips show and everyone will know your exhaust isn't stock).
this is the same setup i had on my '85 iroc; i really miss her it will sound awesome! if you can't find a good shop there, drive to tn; i know some people. lol
e-mail me any questions. good luck!
