Heat riser disconnected...

Hi all,
My '86 T/A has a disconnected heat riser. Just wondering if it's still being in my exhaust is causing any undue restriction or any problems. What do you think? Also, is there s way to take the damn thing out? and replace it with a spacer or something?

I believe the default is for the EFE valve to be open, so you shouldn't experience any problems (I recently experienced difficulties with it because the TVS wasn't functioning--no vaccuum). Apparently, a spacer was used on TPI cars. I have the spacer. It's yours for postage.
