A.I.R. pump pressure/Relocating valve
I have to deal w/ emission testing every two years in NE Ohio. So, I can't remove the A.I.R. system on my car. However, I plan to relocate the control valve. I'd like to cut the stock metal tubing connecting the control valve to the pump and replace it w/ a hose.
Does anyone know what kind of pressure is generated by the A.I.R pump? Is anything special required in the way of a hose when doing this? Any limitations on size (smaller diameter)?

They do make "smog" hoses specifically for that stuff, but if you ask me it's a rip. Figure out what diameter to use and have 'em cut you some heater hose.

That's what I was thinking of doing, but wasn't sure if heater hose was up to the task.
