Flowmaster P/N's

I was looking through the flowmaster product refernce chart on their web site (www.flowmastermufflers.com) I noticed multiple P/N's for some things.

if anyone can shed some light on this, that would be great.

oops, forgot 2 mention the source of confusion (its been a long day...). Anyway, there are 2 different places where I would fall under (91 camaro), and in (line 34, and line 36) and in line 34 for the American Thubnder, it gives 2 PN's. Why?

and yes, I just might be retarded...lol

Their chart and odd names always confuse me too. Just call them tomorrow and let us know. One pn could be the single 3"in dual 3" out and the other might be 3" in dual 2.5" out.

Ok, I figured it out.
PN: 17233 has a 3" cat. flange
PN: 17234 has a 2.5" cat. flange...
they just couldnt put that in some footnote or something, could they?

I had called Flowmaster on these 2 part #'s yesterday to find out the I pipe diameter. the 17233 is a full 3" all the way back and the 17234 is 2.5" all the way, just in case you guys were curious, I was. With some of the other companies the I pipe doesn't necessarily match the size of the cat output diam, e.g. dynomax and their 2.75" I pipe for either size cat.
