Just wondering who has 1 3/4 headers on a 305. How do you find them? I'm guessing you'll loose some low end torque and get more higher up?

Yes, I know of ******* ride and e-mail him reguarly. However, he is running forced induction so there is a bit of a difference between a na 305 and one that is running 14psi of boost.

I have 1 3/4 SLP jet hot coated headers on a 305. I went with the large tubes because I dont plan on having a 305 forever.
After installing the headers I did notice a difference in power. I dont think that I lost power anywhere. The way I see it is that if you plan on keeping the wee05 forever get the hookers or the edelbrocks. If you plan on a getting 350 or larger get the SLP 1 3/4's.

I currently have heads, cam, 1.6 RRs, intake, converter and a bunch of other stuff that I can't think of at the moment. I'm getting a supercharger in the future but just wanted to know that I would get a gain the the larger header with the engine in its current naturally aspirated form.

i put the SLP 1 3/4 headers on my 305 and saw 3/10th's and 3mph at the track. the only mods at that time were the headers and cat back.
