when i purchased my car a few months ago, i noticed that there is a ticking noise that comes from the drivers side exhaust manifold (or so it sounds like its coming from there) and it makes this annoying ticking sound that progresses and speeds up the faster i go...some people tell me its an exhaust leak, others tell me its the engine knocking? any of you experienced guys know what i should do?

 

exhuast leak... get it check out.. could be just re-torquing the bolts, or replacing the gasket...

 

its your donut gasket, loose bolts or bad gasket.
