got the 2055's in, got questions HELP!

Got my car back from the shop the headers sound mean and I can really feel the gain. I got a few problems to fix now that they are in and im here to ask questions. The guy at the shop told me i have to do three things, get a new dipstick cuz it wont reach all the way it reads wrong...thats no big deal for now, the wires or they will fry. They are ac delco factory 8mm silicone, i got the headers jet hot coated but what are the chances of them gettin fried? What kinda 90 degree wires should i get? Also the o2 sensor wire, guy says i need a hose 2 extend it. i read on here just pull it out more and it will fit but i have no friggin idea where it connects to. Me and friend looked and couldn't find it (he's an import guy and im car dumb). What are the dangers of drivin the car with the wire just hangin there? I have an extra car to drive so thats no problem but i wanna go smoke sum fools with newly completed exhaust system asap. Thanx in advance for any help given

Not sure what's going on with the dipstick. Perhaps they just bolted it to the header flange w/o a spacer (to be like it was with the exhaust manifold). I just removed the tab, stuck the tube all the way down, and put a tie wrap around the tube and A.I.R. manifold.

I used the straight plug connector on #2 cylinder, all the others are 90 degree. The coating will help, but not eliminate the possibility of wire damage.

The O2 wire is in the harness loom that goes in front of the carb. It's a single wire with one of those connectors with a rubber seal on it. I didn't have any trouble pulling it out enough to get it to reach, but I guess I shouldn't guarantee you won't.

Certainly remove the air cleaner. You may have to take that wire out of the harness wrap it is in and route it separately to get it to reach the O2 sensor wire. Mine happened to reach without too much trouble, but you may have to go through more effort - they didn't get all of their harnesses from the same source.
