Flomaster y-pipe welded up...BEFORE the cat now...read on....

I had the Flowmaster after cat y-pipe welded up....but now it is BEFORE the converter.

The SLP dual cat header pipes from the headers would have prevented the wheel from turning enough, since I have the super wide 9.5" Ronals on front. Also, they would have had to lower the exhaust because of the trans tunnel brace from the Kenny Brown SFC's and could scrape on almost anything.

They needed to weld a small section of tube to move the pre-cat tubes back away from the tire. Then, the cut the tubes off the Flowmaster pipe and welded up the SLP pipes to the FLowmaster pipes and then into a single 3" converter.

I wanted to stay with the dual cat setup, but it just would not work. Besides, the single converter is easily replaceable since I can bolt it in and out easily.

The car runs awesome and noticed a BIG improvement on the higher RPM range and mid range torque. The low end torque seems have either not changed or lost a tiny bit. Also noticed the exhaust is louder and now sounds perfect!!

I will have pics when I get a chance.
