what can i do to customize my a/c bracket

Transmission: street-strip 700R4
what can i do to customize my a/c bracket
well i got a set of headman hedders for my 89 camaro now it tells me the the bracket that go's from the back of my a/c compresor to one of the bolts of the stock exhaust manifold has tobe customize what do i do to it?do i really need it or can i discard it?

You should have it. It helps support the back end to keep it from shaking (and perhaps break another one of the brackets).
Just cut off the back leg. The remaining leg is enough to provide the needed support.

It look like the leg on my car is just a bar! so is what your saying to just cut it shorter?? my stock set up has on large bar that hooks up to the manifold and to the a/c bracket
