What diameter pipe?
Whats diameter pipe are you guys using for your Y pipe and exhaust? I talked to a muffler shop and they dont carry 3" pipe? are you guys using 2.5" pipe for your Y?

I would use 2-1/2" primaries into 3"if I were making a Y-pipe, if at all possible. Can you try another muffler shop? I know NAPA carries 3" pipe. Maybe you can get the 3" parts from them and have the muffler shop to weld it up for you.
