EGR Gasket

I have a 92 3.1 that needs a new EGR gasket, problem is nobody makes it. Paying $200 for a new EGR ain't gonna happen since the whole thing is perfect sans gasket. Where can I get a sheet of hi-temp fiber gasket material. Most places I called don't have anything like that. I'm sure I can find something at work monday but I'm trying to get it fixed today. Tempted to just have it welded.

Never seen one you could not buy at your local auto parts store or dealership at worst. Dont weld it you will regret that, like a guy I know of who welded his exhaust manifold to the head to stop an exhaust leak. DUMB DUMB DUMB. I could not believe it, did a hell of a good job on the weld tho. Some folks should have their hood welded shut.

Well this is one you can't buy at all. It's included in the whole assembly only. I looked with the GM parts guy at the dealership at the diagram on the computer. It's nowhere to be found. I wouldn't regret this weld it's the bottom egr plate to the bottom chamber piece. Which could've been one freakin piece in the first place thanks gm. So tonight it gets high temp permatex tommorow it gets welded or ripped off. I'll take a pic so you can see exactly what gasket I need although the gasket is basically dust.
