I was disappointed with the way my Earl's header gaskets fit today. I had to cut them to make them fit with my Moroso centerbolt wire looms. I sure hope they seal because they do look like a good design. Where I had to cut them won't affect the way they seal, but just required a little more work! You can see at the top of the gasket where I had to cut them between header tube 1 and 2 in this pic. I had to trim both sides between 1 and 2; also between 3 and 4.

Somehow I don't imagine that Earl planned on your aftermarket wire looms when he designed the gasket.

Well, I was assuming that they wouldn't work with the factory looms either (although I bought these L98 heads and so I don't have the factory looms). The reason I was assuming this was because the directions for the aftermarket looms call to use the factory loom bolts and I just thought they would attach in the same spot.

P.S. I love my Accel TPI intake, too, since my accessory brackets will not bolt up to it without cutting the brackets or the sawing on the intake! The headers.... I knew I was going to have to fabricate spacers, cut brackets, and so on. But heck, if I have to cut more brackets off that mount to the intake, there won't be much left. Usually I have only had to deal with an alternator bracket on the serpentine setups with headers (if I remember correctly), but it looks like with the v-belt setup, a lot more brackets mount to the intake and exhaust manifold studs.
