Edelbrock Y-Pipe

Hallo to everybody !
Whatīs the right sequence to install the Edelbrock-Headers with the y-pipe ? - Should I first bolt both headers in to the right torque and then try to ally the y-pipe ? ( This is what I did, but it is rather impossible to get it together without a leak at the donut-gaskets ).
Or should I bolt the headers loosely to the heads, install the y-pipe and then torque the headers to specification ?
The y-pipe is in contact to the oilpan, therfore I canīt get the driver-side-flange ( where the pipe meets the header ) properly together.
Any hints ??
Uwe

Okay, looks as nobody can help me. After some hours of hard work I finally did it. ( Perhaps my english spelling is too bad so nobody understand what I mean ;-)
By the way, I have a 85 IROC and installed the Edlebrock TES for 86 and newer, a new cat and the catback for 86 and newer. I have one exhaust-hanger I didnīt now where to bolt at. It is supposed to bolt at the catalyst-out, but I have no idea where to bolt at the frame.
