need advice

i need advice on what to do with my exhaust. i have a 91 t/a 350 tpi that when i bought it had the dual cats punched (or so he said) and a 3" pipe coming from the dual cats back to a 1 chamber flowmaster.... well that 1chamber was causing too much interior vibration (loud!!) so i put a 3chamber with 3" inlet and dual outlet on (much smoother sound)..

so now i want to get headers. i just bought spohn subframe connectors that i havent yet had installed.. wondering if i should install subframes before i buy headers. i would like a clean bolt in installation but also want the most performance i can get from these headers. will the dual cats cause problems with any header y-pipes or are they all bolt up installations? if its too much of a problem ill just pull everything from the cat and back off and drive it to the exhaust shop with just headers and a bolted in y-pipe. this 3" pipe looks to be mandrel bent.. kind of supprised this was installed with the stock size dual cats. also wondering if i should get the headers that have the AIR tubes (they are starting emmission testing in texas but i just got my inspection 30 minutes ago )

also looking for a good place in austin TX for subframe connector install.

any input would be appreciated.
