I am looking into a cat back system for my car (82 z28). But it seems that most cat-back systems are for 83-92 cars. Whats the deal with that. is my exahust different than the 83. could someone post a pic of the stock exhaust on an 83 or newer, and if they aren't the same, what mods would i have to do to put on, say the hooker cat back system.

Im pretty sure its just the way the cat-back itself bolts up to your cat.....nothing that a good muffler shop couldnt make fit though......just go for the cheapest...they will all fit one way or another...its easy to fix.
