I made this sound file a while ago but never got around to making a post. This is going to be my "before" sound pretty soon.
I've got a TPI 355, 10:1 compression, 214/224 .442/.465 112lsa hydraulic cam. The exhaust consists of heddman 1 5/8" headers, y-pipe, 3" dynomax high-flow cat and a 2.5" Super Turbo catback. The car doesn't idle nearly as choppy as it sounds... I'm just having low idle issues so the car wants to idle at 500 rpm.
Anyway... I revved it to 2k a couple times, but no higher. The car has a nice tone, but isn't as loud as it seems in the clip. The great thing about the dynomax 2.5" catback is that it gives a nice tone, but is not loud. It's great for a daily driver. But since this isn't my daily driver, it's getting replaced with either a dual exhaust with bullet mufflers , or a 3" intermediate with a single 3" bullet muffler.
