High Flo Cat and Headers

I'm looking to do work on my exhaust. I'm looking for a high flow cat for my 305 camaro if anyone can recomend a brand and give me a link so I check prices and such i would really appricate it.

Also I'm looking into the edelbrok tes headers has anyone ever used these? What do you think of them? Thanks in advance

i have the TES headers and a Catco catylitic on my 90 iroc, i think i got them both from Summitt. also i just recieved today a tube that replaces my converter made by MAC exhaust and it bolts right in, all i have to do is put the converter in when i go for emissions otherwise the bypass pipe is on...

as for the TES, theyre not the best out there but installation was easy (for me atleast) and i got the chrome ones and they look(ed) good, least for a while they did. but for the price they're the best IMO

Are SLP any better also When you buy headers do you get the Y-pipe with it.

When I looked at the High flow cat i noticed that it comes with either 2 1/2 outlets or 3in outlets should I go 3 inch all they way back I plan to get Flowmaster American Thunder 3in cat back would it be taking to much back pressure from the exhaust?

thanks Scott

as for slp being better, i dont know but i do know they are almost twice as exspensive... make sure you get the TES with the 3 inch y-pipe and it does come with the system, and get the 3 inch converter, thats what i did, sorry i dont have part numbers to give you.
as far as back pressure, you dont need back pressure that is a myth

Sorry I keep learning new stuff as I read about headers. If they are ceramic coated would I still need to get them Jet Hot coated or would that be fine by itself

i am sorry i cant answer that, the headers i got were just chromed, and it doesnt last very long, your best bet is getting a set of edelbrocks or hooker headers jethot coated
