Engine: 5.7L
Transmission: Automatic 4 speeds
Axle/Gears: 2.77
What is the VIN letter or number for an L69?
Hello all, I'm looking for a L69 car. I wanted to know what is the 8th digit for this motor? I have a 89 Firebird with a 2.8L Multi-Port FI with an auto transmission. Will I see a good difference with a 305 HO like this? I want one 'cause they are not too pricey so I may be able to buy one with the cash I get from my 89... Thanks

Go for a tpi car instead you will get better mpg and have about the same performance and the price difference should not be that much.
