Take your time doing it, and if you get frustrated take a break. Make sure to soak the manifold bolts with PB Blaster or some type of penetrating lubricant. Spray them a days before and then real good the night before and real good again the day you're doing it. Don't get too forceful with them, or they could break off. The last 2 bolts on the passenger side might have to come out from underneath since it's kind of tight in that area.

also, remove your spark plugs before you take off teh manifold.

also a question... would using an air ratchet be good for this? I think I might have to do my header install at my friends house... we will see.

i left my plugs in, so I wouldn't get rust in them

I had to unbolt the motor mounts and jack up the engine to get mine in

An air ratchet would work, but I don't know if it would have enough torque to get the bolts off. An impact wrench might break them if you're not careful. I'd say just use a regular ratchet. That's how I did mine and they came out fine. The hardest part is getting it squeezed in there to get to the bolts, and with an air ratchet it might be tough.

I might first break them loose with the ratchet, but I think im gunna use the air ratchet for the rest... im just lazy and I love to use air tools.. so much fun.
