Okay, I'm sure that there has been a lot of discussion about whether or not it is possible to have true dual exhaust that exits in front of the rear wheels. I'm not talking about the pipes hanging down inches from the body. I've seen on some roush mustangs where the pipe is simply run right behind the body kit. Also on some corvettes.. My car is 1700 miles away, so I haven't been able to look at it, but it seems like this could work with minor modifications.. I don't really care how much work it takes, I'm convinced that it is possible. Well, any help would be appreciated.. Thanks

Anyone have any pictures of chrome side pipes on a third gen? Just curious if it looks good...

 

It is possible to do, but it's custom work so you better be a good fabricator, or be willing to pay somebody big $$$ to do it for you. Chrome sidepipes don't look good on thirdgens IMO, but to each his own. I think the setup you're talking about is similar to what I did. I'll try and get some pics up later tonight. Here's one:

 

That's kindof what I'm talking about. But I was thinking of running the pipe right behind the body kit. Either I could try to make what I have now work, or just make one out of fiberglass or kevlar or something. The original probably won't work so that's what I'll do more than likely. Well, I'll keep you all updated. Post some pics when it's done... of course I have to get the car first.......
