My problem is that my 85 Z28 has a very noisey ride to it. Whenever I am driving there are all sorts of clunks and bangs from the back of my car whenever i go over an even small bump in the road. I live in NYC so there is no way to avoid the bumps. lol Such terrible roads here. I found the problem to be that my back drivers side exhuast pipe (after the muffler) is hitting the body right before the bumper. My question is did camaros and firebirds have some kind of rubber bumper from the factory to prevent the tail pipe from hitting the body right by the rear bumper to cushion the hit or should i just get a solid steel muffler hanger. I am also looking for other 3rd gen people in the city. I live in queens.

You prolly have the single pipe dual tip's??
