How do I tell?

How do I tell which Flowmaster I have, I know it has to be either a 40 or 80's series but I am not sure which.

i'm not 100% on this but i think the 80 is about the same size as your stock muffler and has single in dual out and the 40 has single in single out and is a little smaller.

40's will come in single in dual out just like the 80, and without one of each, I really have no way to compare size.

the 40's can have the dual outlets on the same size, where as the 80's have the outlets on opposing sides. Pretty easy to tell.

My fault, I thought the 40's could replace stock. I guess I have the 80 then.......
