removing exhaust pipes

So I'm taking off the exhaust pipe off my car, and aside from having to cut half the bolts off, I've got a problem. I can't get the pipe out, since it goes over the rear axle. How am I supposed to get it off short of cutting it off? The replacement system I brough for super cheap is already welded together.... I am missing something or what?

I think you got it Frank. It sounds like you're laying under your car like I was, lol. When I removed mine, I had to cut it off. And since it's being replaced, cutting it doesn't matter anyway. But since your new set-up is already welded together, it's going to be tough to get it through with so little room to move around under there. If you can get the car higher, you'll have more room to move the new pipe around, and you'll probably be able to get it through.

Oh, to have a car lift!!!

Oops, you mean everything is welded together? Then nevermind to my above stuff, lol. I'm thinking you'll have to remove the Panhard Bar, a shock, a spring, and lower the axle.

Yeah...i had to cut mine...not bad, but killed my shoulder for a few hours. I had to use a hand hacksaw. Hope you like pavement because you are going to be kissing it, but well worth the effort.

Here is a pic of my stock system...you can see where I made my cuts. I had to cut behind the cat because the bolts were shot.

just take shock bolts off and support rear you'll gain room that way.
