It is not that diffucult if you have the right time, tools and patience. If you do not have any of those than it will be hard. There really isn't any step by step guide you have to follow so your best bet is to dive right in.

if its your first time, it may take longer.
the biggest pain is removing the stock manifolds. heres the way i do it: (i posted more detailed instructions awhile back, do a search with my username and you'll find it)
remove the Y pipe.
remove ONE motor mount bolt. (i like to get the hard things done first, so i usually pull the passenger side one first)
set the car back on the ground, and place a board under the motor... carefully jack the motor up (it should tilt)... watch for clearance, esp with the distrib in the back.
IMPORTANT: before you work on it, put somthing solid between the gap of the engine and mount. you dont want to have it fall and break your arm. wood or scrap metal work great.
now that its tilted, you have more room to remove the manifold bolts. if its dead stock there will be tabs holding the bolts from turning.. you need to open the tabs with a screwdriver first.
the motor is already tilted, so the header should slide in there.start two bolts, but dont put them all in yet.
lower the engine.. look for clearance... watch fuel lines, brake lines, wires, coolent return tube on passenger side, ect...
bend/ziptie/modify things that are in the way. if you have to remove the header to do it, its no biggie.
now that its clear, raise it up again, (dont forget to put somthing solid between the mount and motor) and tighten the header down.
lower, replace the bolt and repeat for the otherside.
btw, a engine hoist is MUCH better then the jack method, but i realize most people dont have them.

i'm almost done with my first header install and it was harder for me to get the headers in and make sure everything is right than it was to get the manis out. i know i got lucky there, all i hear was that was the hardest part. o ya and my cat was a pain in the @ss with the 4 bolt rusted up, but i don't thing u have a 4 bolt cat so i guess it'll be a little easier.
