Cutout technical info...
Hey, I have searched the board and found a lot of great info about cutouts, but I was wondering if I could get some specific replies to a few questions I had.
I want to install a manual cutout on my 1990 305 TPI Iroc. First of all, what is the diameter of the piping. 2.5? 2 3/4? Im not too sure I just got the car. Also, what would be the ideal place to install the cutout (i want it before the cat) so it is easily accesible. Pictures would help a lot. Any other info, advice, or recomendations would really be appreciated. I want the car LOUD and police really arent a problem. Do you guys think its a good idea or what? Let me know. Thanks in advance.

I'll do it
I'll reply cause noone else has. Before the cat is good, but, if you don't have to worry about police, why not run open hedder? Mr. Gasket makes one for 2" pipe (I think it's 2"). Cost you aboout 50$ from summit. Belive it or not, you can also buy the cut-outs from Oreilys auto parts.
