? about pipe instead of cat....

for all you guys who have lost the cat and replaced with a straight pipe.......how did you connect it to your catback???

i just had a muffler shop weld in a straight pipe (he was supposed to make me a slip fit pipe with the same flange connection as before on the catback end, but he welded it in instead, and since it was clear he was doing this as an illegal favor, i didnt really have room to argue). anyways, now i have to put in my new catback, and it has that stock connection with the socket and flange. should i just cut that part off my brand new catback and put on a coupler?

what did you guys do?

thanks,
evan
