damaged or ?
I bought a 1982 Camaro Z28, supposedly with a 350 5.7L 1975 Corvette Engine.
I'm obviously have no brain when it comes to cars, but the fact is, im very willing to learn. Newayz.. I was checking out the exhaust under the car, n it seems to have some wrap around it. I was wondering if anyone knows why this would be and if it is bad? Also sometimes the car seems to lead/pull one way or another a little bit, but im guessing thats because of the tires, theyre really worn. Thx.
Signed,
Newb

that looks like header wrap, like to keep the heat down. i just don't know y it would just be on that small part of the exhaust

My guess would be to prevent heat soak of the starter!
looks like the starter is wrapped also.

Newb Quesstionnn.
How do I tell what kind of engine I have?
The guy said it was a 1975 350 5.7L Corvette Engine but how do I check that?
I apologize for posting this in the exhaust section, but since I made this post I thought I would just continue it with my questions.
