Need help.

on a 400 CI, with headers, and 2.5 inch duel exhaust, and a camshaft what muffler would be the loudest? I have dynomax bullit race mufflers, and some Super series 40. I want to know what other mufflers would be the loudest and what would give me maximum performance?

i say take off the mufflers and run the car. i mean it's not like the Dynomax Bullet Race muffler is a "muffler"

 

hmmmm. I have done it before, but now i am not really conserned alot with sound, I want performance and sound if I can have both.

 

ok so u have ran the car without the flows on and u dont want it that loud?? i'm slightly confused. with performance, the only way u'll get more flow is have nothing (stright pipe where the mufflers r) bcuz that's about what a bullet is.

What are the best flowing performance mufflers that are Not as loud as the Dynomax Race but as loud as the Series 40, but not a series 40.

 

Spintech Pro Shoot Outs are prety loud but not as loud as bullets and it will flow almost as well as a bullet. i would say Spintech's Sportsman Street mufflers are closer to the noise level of a 40 though and the Spintech will out flow it.
