Which is best dual 3" route to go?
ok i had a question for you guys that are running dual exhaust. I have hedman long tube hedders with 3" collectors and want to run dual 3" pipes with (2) of the new super 40 flowmasters. one on each side of course, but i dont know which is the best way to go for ground clearence. I dont care is the exhaust ends at half ways underneath the car or if it has to go all the way to the back. In the "Third Gen Dual Exhaust Picture Collection" i seen juggernaut_69 with a nice setup and also joshwilson3 showing a hedman crossover system. Are any of these good? and which would be the best way to go?

For dual 3" exhaust you better be making some incredible HP/TQ.

If you go duals, you don't need anything over 2.5", hell, even the huge big blocks don't need more than 2.5" duals.

For 3 in duals i would use oval tubing to optimize ground clearance. I am running a single 3 in flowmaster off of a mufflex y pipe and can still manage 12.0 @113 MPH ,but for comparison the same motor ran 11.7 @ 118 MPH in my 80 z28 with dual 3 in with an x pipe.
