Last question before my install....

I know this is going to be a stupid question, but I am going to ask it anyway.

I have all the parts for my exhaust sitting on the floor of my living room, and I am ready to tackle this install, but there is one thing that I am confused about....

What goes in between the End of the Y-Pipe and the Catalytic converter on the passenger side of the car? Do I have to take it someplace and have a pipe fabbed or what?

I know that from the Cat Back the system is obviously taken care of, and I have the headers and y-pipe... but what do I do? Does it involve driving to a muffler shop with open headers??

Here is what I have right now...
Hooker 2055's w/Y Pipe (obviously)
3" HO Aerochamber Cat-Back
3" Catco Direct Fit Catalytic Converter

The y-pipe slips into the inlet of the cat. AKA "slip-fit" inlet. Either clamp it or weld it.

Assuming the cat-back you have was intended for an '86-'90 TPI single cat application, it will all bolt/slip together.

I was under the impression that the cat would be along the passenger side of the car where it is now.

Is the Y-Pipe that long?

The 2055 y-pipe routes exactly where the factory pipe routed, ending at the factory cat inlet location.

Unless something's been "done" to your y-pipe.

Let's hope not, it looks like it's alright.

I'm excited, ACS should be shipping the headers today.
