SLP 3001 header pictures
I read a bit on these in this forum . So I thought it was only fair to contribute some pictures back . I tryed to take some sugnificant shots .... with a measuring tape in front of them ...to give an idea of what they were .
...where the y pipe meats the cat
same as above ...but with a measureing tape ...I thought they were 3"inside diameter
a picture looking inside the primaries ....but where the AIR tubes were ...was some nasty metal .... that needed to come off . I thought they would be a little better in this regard .
where the y pipe splits off... looks to be less than 2.5 inside diameter
another showing the same dimensions
The y pipe itself
The Passenger header .....
Thanx agian thirdgen ...for the info I have read on these

I am interested in your setup. I am hoping you are still running a tpi setup. I noted at your are in Ontario as well. I have a similar setup to yours. However mine is not running so well, I hope it is just programming. I have 1-3/4 slp headers, World Sportsman II heads a ZZ9 cam and a roller set-up. I am currently running a stock ARAP program, but the car is not revving well at all. I runs like a sick dog. It sounds very very strong but not as crazy as it should. I am hoping it is programming.
My first question is about your programming. Are you running a stock program with a MAF?? Also let me know what you encounter with the heat generated from the headers. I melted three spark plug boots and wires. After replacing them I insulated them with MSD sleeves and this weekend I hope to put header tape on the headers. It is a shame to cover the headers, but I can't afford to replace parts due to the heat. Let me know how things are going and where in Ontario you are from...
