holding my exaust...help

ok so the right side of my exaust is hanging - well it's actualy holding it self on the differential
or soemthing, i'm not to sure. anyways, the garage told me i needed a adapter or hanger to
attacht it back up. so i went to the dealer, they don't know what i'm taking about.
it's on the exause right before the muffler (so right side-passanger) and there is a metal
loop kind of welded on the exaust, that peice connects to the frame(i think) to hold it self up.
well it was nothing on the frame to hold on to, so the adapter if was hanging on fell off...follow me?
i was thinking of just gery rigging it or something, but i'd like to know
the atualy part that goes there if there is, if someone has a pic or something of their exaust
near the muffler so i could see

thanks for any help.

I would go to an exhaust shop and have them attach a new hanger or two. Should cost more than 20 or 30 bucks. You can even buy new hangers at any auto parts store. Or go to a junk yard and scab a hanger assembly there. You could probably walk away with one for next to nothing.

I had the same problem you did. I wound up just getting a new cat back and buying a new hanger.

This is the hanger i think your talking about. That's the old one, i bought a new one from Napa for $9.
