What Size Pipe Plug to Plug Air Tubes

What Size Pipe Plug to Plug Air Tubes

ok I am Removing the air tubes from my brothers 1984 TA with a LG4 It still has stock Exhaust Manifolds. What Size and Thread do I need to plug the holes.

Engine: Pos 2.8 pulled and replaced with a 350 tpi motor converted to carb.
Transmission: 700r4, vette servo,shift kit, hayden 15"x8" trans cooler.
1/4 pipe

5/16" inflared fitting plugs is what I used when I had stock manifolds. Picked them up at a local rubber and gasket supply house..

I used 1/4" brass pipe plugs with teflon tape (both found in plumbing dept.), but I have heard that you are supposed to use 1/4" flare plugs. Mine are working fine, though, just be sure to tighten them up every now and then.
