cutout before or after cat?

cutout before or after cat?
is thier a major power/sound difference if i moved my cutout from after to before the cat?

before cat = loud as hell no restriction
after cat = lil lower sounding acually probally street drivable all day depending on engine work i would guess and alittle restriction

You want to put it before the cat. That is the whole purpose. You are trying to bypass any restriction that may occur in a typical exhaust system (cats, muffler etc).
