02 sensor help

02 sensor help

im in the process of trin to remove my o2 sensor but i cant get to it. i got the sensor socket but i cant seem to get to the sensor. how have all of u gotten to it cause i cant get to this thing.

You should be able to get at it from under the car. If you have really long arms you may able to get it from under the hood. Most 02's are pretty rusted and take a little bit of swearing and good 'ol elbow greese to break it lose.

I found jacking up the car and using needlenose Visegrips to do the trick!!!

It helps to if you let the car run for a bit before trying to take it out. Where gloves and a jacket so you don't burn yourself on the exhaust manifold.
